2. Paul calls us to train ourselves for godliness (v.7) In what ways does the training life of an athlete compare to the training for godliness in the life of a believer?
3. What are the activities and/or concerns that we devote ourselves to more than godliness?
4. How does godliness hold promise for this life? How does godliness hold promise for the life to come?
5. Read Titus 1:1. Paul says he does everything "for the sake of the faith of God's elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness." What is the relationship in a believer’s life between truth and godliness?
6. Why is it important for believers to live godly lives at work? At Western? With our family? etc.
