These questions go with the sermon from Mark 14:10-25 that was preached on February 21st. Click the notes tab to the left to download a pdf of the questions.

1. How did this sermon convict, encourage, or challenge you?

2. In 1 Corinthians 5:7, Paul tells the people at Corinth that Jesus is our “Passover Lamb.” How do we see this truth in the Lord’s Supper? And how does this truth change the way that we live?

3. On Sunday morning we talked about Jesus delivering us from our enemies. What are the enemies that Jesus frees us from? And do we live like people who have been set free?

4. Jesus says in the passage that “this is my blood of the covenant.” What is this new covenant that Jesus is talking about with the disciples (read Exodus 24:3-8; Jeremiah 31:31-34)? How are we as new covenant people different than those in the old covenant?

5. During the Lord’s Supper we are called to remember, to celebrate, and to proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. How can we do each of these acts better as we receive the bread and the fruit of the vine?
