These questions go with the sermon from April 4th on Mark 16:1-8. Click the notes tab to the left to download a pdf of the questions.
1. How did the sermon on the resurrection of Christ convict, encourage, or challenge you?
2. Too many times we allow our feeling to drive our thinking rather than God's Word. The word teaches in Romans 4:25 that Jesus "was raised for our justification." How should the fact that we are righteous before God because of Christ change us?
3. The truth that "He has risen" should bring tremendous change to our lives. In what ways should the resurrection of Christ change the way we deal with sin? And the way we walk in righteousness?
4. Many people, even believers in Christ, have daily fears of dying. How should we counsel a fellow believer who has been diagnosed with cancer and fears for "the worst" in light of the resurrection?
5. The women at the tomb were told by the angel to "go and tell" the disciples that Jesus has risen and will go ahead of them to Galilee. How should the resurrection of Christ change the conversations we have with others?
