One of my favorite ways to grow as a Christian is to sing the truths about the gospel. Ever since I came to Jesus at 16, the Lord has drawn my heart to songs about Jesus, to learn to play them, to lead others in singing them, and to even write new songs of worship for the church.
That's why I was so encouraged when Keith and Kristyn Getty compiled a new hymnal for the church today. It's called "The Sing Hymnal" and it includes songs written by the Gettys, classic hymns of the faith, and many other recent hymns written for the church. This hymnal is a rich resource for the church to sing the Word together!
As we begin 2026, I wanted to use this resource to help me abide in Jesus more. I put together this devotional guide to go through the Sing Hymnal day by day. I want to invite you to join me!
