Looking for God in Suffering

Psalm 44 shows us how to respond to the disconnect between what we know to be true of God and what we're experiencing. Biblical lament brings our questions and complaints to God as an act of faith. This psalm ultimately points us to Jesus, who entered into suffering, experienced rejection, and was vindicated through the resurrection. The cross and resurrection, then, is where we look for our salvation and our template for life.
