The Right Response to God

Psalm 50 confronts us with the God we must face: the holy Judge who calls all people to account. Through Israel’s failures, the psalm exposes our tendency to misunderstand God by treating him as either needy or indifferent toward sin. Yet the God who judges is also the God who saves, offering mercy through Jesus Christ. In response to his grace, Christians are called to lives marked by thanksgiving and holiness.
